SparkPoint and Aircoins AMA Session: The Recap
Familiarizing the Augmented Reality App with #Sparkies.
Sparkies assembled again for the AMA Session! And yes, it was another opportunity to meet one of the recent partners in our growing list. We had Mr. Emal Safi, the CEO of the Aircoins Project, as the guest inside the AMA room last July 12.
Aircoins merges cryptocurrency with mobile gaming, augmented reality, and digital advertising, players are incentivized by collecting rewards and digital assets. For them, it’s a fun and interactive way of learning the various cryptocurrency projects in the space through their Augmented Reality App.
To further the adoption of their token and increase its circulation in the blockchain, their native token, AIRx recently joined the list of SparkDeFi and SparkSwap pools.

Karan: Hi Community! It’s time for another SparkPoint AMA session. This time for the AMA, we have Emal Safi from Aircoins. Airсоins is a mobile app where players can collect digital assets in AR based on geolocation. Using a proof of effort algorithm players are rewarded for their effort while staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Aircoins introduces a new digital medium for advertising, communication, and brand marketing. Increase your companies brand awareness through interactive 3D Augmented Reality ads.
Emal can you please give a small introduction about you and tell us about what made you start Aircoins and what are your expectations from this partnership before we could start the AMA?
Emal: We wanted to bring an interactive and engaging mobile app to bring in adoption through an augmented reality treasure hunt for crypto coins! We believe viewing crypto through your camera is much cooler and the world is able to share their experiences with each other. We have been partners with SparkPoint now for 2 years and we hope to continue to grow together in the blockchain space. We’ve had SparkPoint in AR and also Aircoins is now listed on SparkSwap for DeFi capture. Thanks for getting Aircoins integrated.
Karan: Let’s get started with selected questions from Twitter.
Q: Features like buying tokenized land etc — will we see AIRx as the one and only in-app currency for these transactions or will it be possible to buy things with all the other available coins from the in-app wallet?
Emal: AIRx is the native token to the Aircoins platform, so we will make AIRx use cases and purchases first. Currently you can purchase upgrade hunting tools in App. Digital land will be another option to purchase since Aircoins has Google maps already integrated. We hope to bring trade and spend options with our other partners too including SparkPoint tokens.
Q: Who are your targeted audience and customers? What regions do you target specifically or are there any restrictions to users? Some other projects or protocols can copy the real word items too. How can you make sure it is only represented by your project?
Emal: Aircoins App is played globally. Our demographics are mobile gamers. People that have played Pokemon Go get quickly familiarized with Aircoins. There currently are no restrictions and some treasure hunts are available during specific events. Aircoins is still the number 1 crypto AR app and millions of coins have been collected so far. We will continue to target the digital and gaming sector.
Q: Does Aircoins have any intention to partner with the massive AR games, i.e, Pokemon Go, Ingress, etc?
“Aircoins brings a different experience than other big brand AR apps. We have a unique community with AR, geolocation and blockchain. We hope to expand to more brands outside of AR.”

Q: Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to your project? Because it is the success of a project to get more investors who are still not in the crypto world. What are the plans to increase awareness around your non-crypto space?
Emal: Yes, Aircoins is firstly a Mobile Gaming App as that is where we drive our revenues, and secondly we act as an advertising platform. That keeps us flexible in many industries outside of crypto.
Q: Vast majority of Crypto projects are built just for the sole purpose of amassing wealth for themselves. So, I want to know the value you aim to add to the crypto industry that will bring greater abundance to the industry?
“Emal: Aircoins aims to bring adoption to crypto through a fun Augmented Reality treasure hunt where anyone can participate. Accessing blockchain wallets and exchanges can be tricky so we try to make it easy for anyone to get into crypto and earn Aircoins or SRK. If you played Pokemon Go, you can play Aircoins and collect crypto. Aircoins did not have an ICO so Aircoins is community driven. Our goal is to get Aircoins to as many people in the world as possible.”

Emal: Ready.

Q: What strategies do AIRCOINS have to make AIRCOINS more valuable in terms of increasing the number of users and what apps are AIRCOINS integrating to expand your ecosystem?
Email Safi: This is a challenge for many blockchain companies. We are leveraging the gaming side of Aircoins to attract new users. Keep the community engaged and challenged and also keeping the incentives rewarding will help us grow also making Aircoins more valuable. Introducing and making new coins available in AR always keeps the engagement.
Q: In the bad situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, every industry was heavily affected. Does it affect the growth of the Aircons team? What are your plans to turn challenges into opportunities for Aircoins Development?
Emal: The pandemic has changed many industries but luckily Aircoins kept a flexible business model and during this time gaming and mobile apps were on the increase. So it was in our favor. We got more busy during this time and also during the peak crypto performance in the beginning of the year.
Q: What is the big benefit to top AIRCOINS holders? Does AIRCOINS do anything to protect users holding tokens from being hacked?
“Emal: Aircoins is the largest crypto AR app for the past three years. So when you hold AIRx you are holding a potential for a much bigger ecosystem for the future. The capabilities of Aircoins are endless so we expect our Aircoins players to create their own virtual experiences. We are always concerned with security and we come from a security background so we follow industry standards. Our Ethereum chain and app has been live for 3 years. “
Q: Currently, NFT is very hot, do you think you will apply NFT technology to your products in the future?
“Aircoins team does a lot of research and development with new technologies. We were minting NFTs in 2017. In Aircoins app we have had collectibles since 2018 and will record these on the blockchain as collectibles NFTs and be able to withdraw and trade them on an NFT platform.”
Q: Scaling is a pain point that failed to be solved by even a big blockchain like Ethereum. How can Aircoins solve it or what steps will you take to solve the scaling problem?
Emal: Aircoins is flexible on our blockchain technologies. Current AIRx is a 50/50 hybrid token on the Ethereum and Binance chain. We hope to utilize more power blockchains for our other gaming functions. We expect the industry to evolve with better blockchain systems.
