Let’s Talk About Our Culture

Our culture influences us is countless ways without us even thinking about it. We act on unquestioned values and beliefs because “that’s what we’ve always done.” Maybe it’s time we examined our cultural attitudes. I suggest opening up the reply button and answering these questions:
- What Do You Want?: Do you have any goals for your life? For example, to have a happy family, successful career, wealth, fame, a long life, other?
2. Healthcare: Are you in good health? Can you afford your doctor visits and medicines? What would happen if you became seriously ill? Do you expect to live a long life?
3. Education: Do you feel school prepared you for life?
4. Family and Friend Relationships: Are you close and connected with your friends and family? Do you have someone who you can count on in times of trouble?
5. Generosity: When do you offer your time, energy, and money to others?
6. Freedom and Liberty: Do you feel free to express yourself? If not, why? Do you allow others to share their opinions?
7. Corruption/Failure: Do you see fraud and corruption in our society? If so, where?
