I still remember the first time we met.

You hadn’t touched me even once
but your words found their way
into my heart, making me utter
secrets I didn’t wish to say.

Your essence reached deep
into my starved soul
forcing me to let go
of the very semblance of control.

The spark in your eyes
went to that sweet spot ‘tween my legs
the inviting juice of your lips –
I wanted to drink till the last dregs.

Your voice did things to my body
that men whom I’d made love to had failed,
and right then, ‘neath the light of a thousand stars
I knew, for you, my ship had sailed.

I come from a country where Medium hasn’t introduced the Partner Program yet. So if you liked my work, you might consider buying me a beer.
