What happened at “StarKST & ContentsDeal SHOWCASE in Seoul”
StarKST & ContentsDeal SHOWCASE in Seoul was held at 5pm, November 25th (KST) in a very successful manner thanks to enthusiastic support of many participants.
The showcase participants could enter the event by using the Face Ticket of KSTARGROUP. It is a newly introduced “bio entry method” — people need to register their faces in advance through the StarWallet application and can enter events with face recognition without paper tickets. Thanks to the new technology, people can enter quickly and conveniently without worrying about losing tickets and the issues of ticket forgery and illegal resale can be automatically solved.
As a matter of fact, those participants who experienced the face ticket on the showcase found it unfamiliar with the verification process at first — but they were surprised by the fast speed of face recognition and its simplicity.
The greetings of Chairman Kim Hyojin of KSTARGROUP opened up the showcase and Vice Chairman Kim Kongsun explained the path and future vision of StarKST. The guest speaker from the BitFriends, a new digital asset exchange that will use StarKST as the key currency, introduced the vision of BitFriends. Finally, Ryan An, representative of ContentsDeal, explained the ecosystem of ContentsDeal along with the project introduction video.
After the presentation session, the Korean hip-hop lable 1LLIONAIRE’s rapper ‘Dok2’ and popular K-pop artist ‘Sunmi’ had wonderful celebration performance on the stage.
Especially, in this showcase, Stereotypes — a renowned producer of global artist Bruno Mars greeted on stage with a content deal team and Robin Alan Thicke, a world-renowned singer-songwriter with mega-hit on Blurred Line, also visited the showcase to celebrate.
Not only the participants visited the showcase but also the online viewers who watched real-time live streaming via YouTube showed passionate response on the showcase.
