The romanticization of crushes is ruining today’s youth.
What the hell even is a crush? It’s someone you’re attracted to. Nothing more. Nothing less. And there’s absolutely nothing magical or “special” about the other person.
Name your most “special crush”, let’s have ten other men do the same. And even for the “most special” of them, there would be freaking millions of similar people in the world.
So, stop putting someone you’re just attracted to on a goddamn pedestal. They’re as human as you are.
With that out of the way, let’s talk about what to do when you’re attracted to someone. It’s fucking straightforward → let them know you’re attracted to them.
No, not through dreamy smiles, subtle innuendoes, or exceedingly kind favors. I mean freaking direct. Like as direct as walking up to a pretty stranger and saying, “Hey. I think you’re gorgeous and would love to get to know you.”
Now, I know, doing it is much harder than it sounds → forget cold-approaching, even with someone you already know, your legs can buckle.
