An ode to Ada Lovelace

This week, 200 years ago, was born the first developer ever.

Augusta Ada Byron, Countess of Lovelace and mother of programming.

Ada Lovelace was born on December 10th, 1815. A brilliant human being that created not only the first programming language; she also did this before a computer even existed, and knew that these programming languages would be used for much more than calculating weird numbers, but even for betting on horses.

Here’s my small thank you for your 200th birthday. And yes, time showed us this brain of yours was something more.
