“Hey man, what if we kicked our ass off in 2016? Let’s do one challenge per week which make us learn or achieve something new!”

This was the conclusion of the most exciting conversation I had with my friend Gui Perdrix a few days ago.

“Let’s put all our challenge ideas on a google doc and let’s choose the one we both want to do.”

There we go. We’re still writing down our greatest/craziest/funniest ideas on this sheet.

Then, each one of us highlights the 5 ones he would actually really want to do during the next weeks.

We pick one of those that we highlighted both. And we do it. That’s it!

Why?

There are actually hundreds of reasons why you could do one challenge a week with a friend of you.

And only one is actually required: because it’s fucking fun!

But it’s still good to know that there are a lot of other — good — reasons why it’s an awesome thing to do.

Here are 5 of them:

  • Living new and exciting situations
  • Learning new skills
  • Going through some of our fears
  • Expand our comfort zone
  • Making our days count

How?

Each week we pick a new challenge. It has to take less than 6 hours to achieve it.

In the end of the week, when the challenge is done, we realize a feedback video and we put it in a medium post with some explanations which will be shared in a dedicated publication: 52in16.

That’s it.

Challenges

All the challenges should teach/bring us something new by doing them.
It can also be just for fun at some points.

We are going to list them week by week below with the link of the dedicated articles we wrote.

Come here again in a few days to see the first challenges we realized, and feel free to send us some ideas in the comments below!

✔ Week #1: Create our own t-shirt
Week #2: Read a book in 2 hours
Week #3: Lay down for 5 minutes on a busy pedestrian street
Week #4: Write the 3 people we most care about a personal letter

Did you like what you read? Let’s click on the little ❤ below. Because it’s nice from you to do it and it helps us to spread the word :)
