Being gamers since we were kids, we grew up having to deal with too many different accounts, hundreds of different in-game currencies, and on top of that all those platforms each had its own ecosystem and gamification systems. Though most of them were great for the community and brought value to us as gamers, the increasingly siloed experience became tiresome. Other newer platforms that have sprung up for gamers are rarely gamified or rewarding altogether. Given that there are over 3 billion gamers today, you can only imagine all the platforms and accounts that need managing.
Throughout our careers in gaming, where we have had diverse expertise spanning across the industry (from publishers to top-tier esports leagues to discord), we have always felt there was something missing. That little extra feeling of excitement. The status quo of fan/player engagement has largely remained unchanged over the past decades. We started Kudos as our way of changing this. In a digital world where most of our time is spent online, we believe that time and engagement should be valued. We want to make this belief a reality!

Things are about to change. We decided that it’s time for us to take on the mission of making your life as a gamer easier, more exciting and above all — rewarding. We want to help no matter what you are doing — whether it’s gaming, watching streamers on Twitch, shopping for the latest hardware or merch, or just relaxing on Discord with your friends. At Kudos we don’t care where you are from or how much money you make; we are all gamers, part of the same culture. Kudos is about making your life rewarding and fun, there will always be something exciting and cool to do in the world of Kudos.
The Next Revolution — Enabling the impossible
The philosophy of Kudos is to make everything you dreamt of as a gamer possible. Whether it’s that cool PC, the latest Fortnite or CS:GO skin or a hangout with an iconic content creator, Kudos wants to make it happen. We are going to work towards our mission by initially connecting the multitude of different platforms, in-game currencies and content channels into one; making life easier and more rewarding for all gamers with the gamer lifestyle in mind first.
Kudos is the reward platform for gamers, created by gamers. Simple as that; not a bank, NFT, crypto or other buzzword; Kudos is truly about rewarding gamers and nothing else.
Kudos is not meant for one genre of games or content or the next steam. It isn’t meant to promote a particular brand or game or platform. Kudos’ key tagline is “universal”: it is for everyone and the fundamental means of exchange in the gaming ecosystem as a whole. It’s your life, your culture, and your Kudos Points — you should be able to do exactly what you wish with it, we merely want to be your facilitator.
Any gamer can work towards earning Kudos on multiple activities, platforms and then spend it as they see fit on whatever catches their fancy. It is the infrastructure where gaming culture as a whole can flourish and be interlinked across multiple platforms, services, products, games, and more. We make the impossible possible for gamers.
Simply put, Kudos and its infrastructure is not the end product. Kudos is the experiences and community that you get to enjoy, the games you play and the feelings you will have when sitting next to your favorite gamer enjoying a beer and hot dog together. That is what Kudos is all about, we call it the #kudosway and #kudosrevolution. Our journey and revolution start by changing how a gamer interacts and shops online, from there on adding more ways that you can earn and spend Kudos, and allowing gamers to do all of this from gaming native platforms such as Discord or Twitch. And that’s only the beginning of the revolution.
