TokenStars Partners with AidCoin to Drive the Adoption of Blockchain Solutions for Charity
TokenStars, the first celebrity management platform on blockchain, today announces the partnership with AidCoin, a crypto project that aims to become the preferred method to donate transparently through the Ethereum blockchain, to drive the adoption of blockchain solutions for auctions and charity organizations.
Aiming to disrupt a global celebrity management market topping $100+ billion, TokenStars is excited to unlock the benefits of blockchain for a good cause. Contests & Charity, the first module on TokenStars platform, is already live and powering a Crypto Charity Auction with exclusive items, donated by celebrities to support their charities of choice.
AidCoin is an ERC20 token that aims to become the preferred method to donate transparently through the Ethereum blockchain and to access the ecosystem of services provided by the AIDChain platform set to release in beta in April. AidCoin is developed and supported by CharityStars, an auction platform for charitable fundraising which has raised more than $12M in favour of 500+ charities.
TokenStars plans to adopt AidCoin and to potentially integrate AIDChain platform and AIDPay, an embeddable widget that allows to accept donations in different cryptocurrencies, in its Contests & Charity module. Using distributed ledgers to track transactions, cryptocurrencies to transfer funds and smart contracts to ensure donations are spent correctly, the collaboration is aimed to provide the transparency of bids, distribution of raised fund, as well as the accurate target spending by the grantees.
