Fantasy Flight Games’ Android: Netrunner card game is set in an incredible and exciting world that just begs for a soundtrack. Sure, we could just cheat and grab the Tron Legacy or Matrix soundtrack, but that would be dropping creds on the corporate agenda . . . and we can’t have that.

Here I offer up an underground selection of songs that come together to form a fantastic soundtrack for the Android: Netrunner card game. Every single title is by an independent artist, and each track can be played directly from the web.

Crank up the volume and get ready to ride the sonic waves.

From the Undercover EP, Irving Force’s “Constructing Androids” just had to be the first track for this unofficial soundtrack for the Android: Netrunner game.
Dan Terminus brings us The Wrath of Code, 13 fantastic synthwave tracks that are all perfect tunes for Android: Netrunner. Press play on “The Chasm” as your turn starts and watch your opponent turn white with fear.
Ex-Machina’s Dystopian Dreams album needs to be added to your playlist right now! This may sound like it’s an eighties track, but “Cyberpower” comes from this century and is 100% pure joy.
Even the description for the Evil Technology album from VHS Glitch makes it sound like a cyberpunk dream gone wrong. Consider this one line from the album description as you enjoy “Jaw Breaker.” [[“Meanwhile somewhere in Tokyo, a clandestine company finished the project to fight against Neotech Corporation”]]
You can’t go wrong with this track from Mega Drive’s 2012 album, Futurescape. Perfect for assaulting ICE or driving, this uptempo number gets your blood moving.
Moondragon’s “Afterburner” slows things down a little, but this track from Man and Machine is another incredible addition to your next Android: Netrunner game session.
We veer a little close to the corps with this track by Module. From the Shatter videogame, I suppose we can let this slip into our unofficial Android: Netrunner soundtrack since the full album is offered at Bandcamp.
Our unofficial Android: Netrunner soundtrack delves even deeper into the eighties with “Supernova Run.” If you find this track fun then you need to listen to the entirety of the Sunset Love album at Bandcamp.
The final track on our unofficial Android: Netrunner soundtrack takes us back to Dan Terminus, this time with a song from the 2014 Darkest Benthic Division album.

And there it is, nine tracks pulled together to create an unofficial soundtrack for Fantasy Flight Games’ Android: Netrunner card game. Roughly 45 minutes of fantastic music to get your blood moving and your cyberpunk groove flowing. Every track is a blast, and for more from each artist click the links in the captions.
