Dragon’s Crossing is a browser-based, web3, Role-Playing Game (RPG) launching on the Arbitrum One chain on May 31, 2023.

This will be a FULL game at launch! Yes, you read it right.

In this article you will find a summary of what was discussed during Town Hall 9:

  • The mint will happen Saturday, May 27th, 2023.
  • The game will launch Wednesday, May 31st, 2023.
  • The Hero NFTs will have 1 of 5 backgrounds, which are randomly selected.
  • There was a slight change in the Whitelist Mint structure. Instead of just the first 300 whitelist minters getting the $150 discount, now 60% of the total amount of whitelisted members will get the discount with a floor of 300. For example: if 600 members end up being whitelisted, 360 of them (60% of 600) will get the discount instead of just 300. But if 400 members end up being whitelisted, 300 will get the discount instead of 240 of them (60% of 400).
  • A lot of gameplay will be revealed during the next town hall. This way we will have a taste of the game before the mint.
  • Transaction fees in Arbitrum are cheap. Less than $1.00. The game won’t have a lot of transactions so you may not even need to pay any transactions fees in a game session. And whenever you do, it’ll be to secure a valuable NFT (summoning shard or skill book at game launch).
  • There will be a leaderboard in the game where you will be able to check your rank during the season.
  • There will be some mini bosses in some zones that must be defeated before passing to the next one.
  • During seasonal gameplay, $DCX will only be earned via the season rewards at the end and exchanging in the dex where it’s available. When perpetual game mode is released, $DCX will be earned during regular gameplay.
  • Skills a hero has learned will no longer be deleted at the end of a season. They’ll have level requirements so you won’t be able to use all skills when you start the next season.
  • Skills are not unique. Meaning they won’t have different bonuses, such as equipment.
  • When you go spend quests while adventuring, there are multiple types of encounters. You can find a monster, get a sidequest, discover a new tile, interact with a narrator, battle bosses and get daily quests.
  • The mint will happen in Dragon’s Crossing’s website.
  • Different types of NFTs (such as land maybe?) might be added in the future.

This summary doesn’t include 100% of the information released in Town Hall 9. I encourage you to watch it completely to get all of the information.
