Imagine a life filled with poor decisions that slowly erode your happiness and well-being. It sounds dramatic, but it’s surprisingly easy to fall into patterns that sabotage our potential. Here’s a satirical guide on how to ruin your life with some key steps to ensure you never reach your full potential.

Close your body language

Walk through life with slouched shoulders, your head down, and avoid eye contact at all costs. Don’t give anyone the impression that you’re approachable or trustworthy. By appearing socially unreceptive, you’ll minimize spontaneous human interaction and ensure that making new friends becomes nearly impossible. Hopefully, everyone will just leave you alone.

Check your phone constantly

When in doubt, or even when you’re not, bury your face in your screen. This ensures you always look busy, avoiding potentially awkward or unpredictable interactions. Make this habit so ingrained that you forget how to engage with people, thus reinforcing your social isolation.

Be late

Never show up early; aim to be right on time or slightly late. This will give the impression that you’re disorganized and uninterested. Plus, arriving early might mean having to talk to someone new, and we can’t have that! When…
