Life On Rinse Repeat?
In some ways — in my neck of the woods — for the last few weeks, life has been rinse, repeat (hamster wheel).
The weather’s been very cold with gray skies and dirty snow. No wind.
Everything’s motionless like a sleeping sloth.
Day to day the same: Rinse, repeat.
Boring funky town with no end in sight for several more days.
[The only thing active is Ms. and Mr. Arthur Itis].
Reality Check: As the saying goes, “Life is what you make it.” One’s life largely depend on choices, actions, and attitudes.
Thing is, as hard as the choice is when you’re in a funk, there are practical things to choose that’ll help rise out of the pit.
Choosing to pick some good things that always feel positive. Make you smile. Focusing attention on those instead of the gray.
This applies to more than the weather.
