No one wants to be poor. At the same time, the desire for comfort and abundance is universal. In my view, poverty, despite its hardships, can offer a different lens through which to appreciate the world.
Poverty teaches you How to struggle, how to be grateful for small things, It emphasizes the value of necessities and fosters a deep appreciation for small joys.
Poor families’ children are not picky eaters neither they have any food allergies nor do they have any choices of food.
Poverty teaches you a lot of things, some of them are How to earn money, how to be patient, how to become prominent, and last but not least, how to become famous.
Yup, famous.
Many famous people have seen poverty in their childhood. I am not saying, if you want to become famous you should be poor but poverty gives lessons to them that success is a gem that is hiding under the rock of hard work.
I remember one of my teachers was a richer man ( he was a bit show off too). He was running a language institute and throngs of students were learning there. He used to dress like an executive.
Once he told us “ I can never forget those days when I used to leave my home without breakfast and sometimes nothing to eat for dinner except a piece of bread.” Apparently, he had a tough time but he learned How to stand out. He set up his own business and now he excels in this world. He says,” I hate poverty”. In my view, poverty was a valuable teacher for him.”
Jacinda Arden, former prime minister of New Zealand. The world’s youngest female leader. Jacinda has twice made the TIME list of the top 100 most influential people. She speaks regularly of her childhood growing up in Murupara, a tiny rural area. It is one of the poorest parts of the country. When it hits the news, it’s for stories of crime, poverty, or addiction. Her father used to be a cop in Murupara. After becoming a prime minister, she usually talks about equity and strength.
CRISTIANO RONALDO was a proud but troubled boy, the youngest of four children. His mother was a cook and a cleaner. The family was so poor. His mother, Dolores Aveiro, considered terminating her pregnancy and tried a homemade recipe, she revealed in her book Mother Courage. He told her when he found out, ‘Look mum, you wanted to abort me and now I’m the one who’s pulling the purse strings in the house.

Oprah Gail Winfrey, is an American talk show host, television producer, actress, and author. She is best known for her talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, broadcast from Chicago. Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a single teenage mother and later raised in inner-city Milwaukee. she was the richest African-American of the 20th century and was once the world’s only black billionaire. she was also often ranked as the most influential woman in the world.
Jim Carrey is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. He was known for his energetic slapstick performances. Jim attended Aldershot High School while there. Sometime later, the family became homeless and lived together in a Volkswagen van while teenage Jim and his brother spent months living in a tent in Charles Daley Park on the Lake Ontario shore in Lincoln, Ontario. The family struggled financially. As of 2023, Jim Carrey’s estimated net worth is around $180 million.

The formal ruler of Dubai purportedly said:

Poverty can teach resilience, resourcefulness, and empathy.
If you’re poor, it’s not your fault, but if you remain in poverty throughout your life, that could be a result of laziness or sometimes luck…
