This week I’m in Akron, Ohio, attending the Akron Public Schools 3T (Teach Tech Transform) conference. The theme is #FutureReady schools. I enjoyed watching Vicki Davis (@coolcatteacher on Twitter) give her Keynote this morning and then was lucky to attend 2 super well planned sessions back to back. The first was with Stephanie DeMichele (@sdemichele on Twitter) on Sharing Student Work Globally and the next was with Heather Smith (@hea2114ther on Twitter) on Becoming an Effective Coach. Both had so many great resources and ideas, and I feel so lucky to have picked such high quality sessions to kick of my conference.

Tomorrow, it’s my turn! I’m giving a 2.5-hour “deep dive” workshop in the morning and repeating it in the afternoon. My topic is “How I ‘Hacked’ Google Docs to Facilitate Planning, Collaboration & Communication” and is all about how I plan for instruction, collaborate and communicate all with one simple, digital weekly plan.
