Negatively

Have you ever felt negative for no reason these days?

You don’t know what happened, and you just subjectively think negatively about everything. Maybe you aren’t even aware of it, or maybe you know that you are thinking negatively, but you still think that it is logical to think that way.

Then you get used to that.

You keep thinking and then acting negatively too. You start to hate other people for no reason, based on how they walk or act. You started to become irritated by them and people’s opinions.

Being negative not only makes other people uncomfortable, but it also ruins yourself.

Why?

We tend to become pessimists because it feels right to think that way.

The more you support your negative thinking, the more you will find it logical for you to think that way. (Murphy’s Law)

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

–Matthew 7:7

When you think negatively, you will attract more negative things because you indirectly ask for them.

Break the pattern

We are not trying to remove all negative thoughts from our minds.

We are here to break the pattern of thinking negatively. We are all built on habits. We do something every day because we are used to it.

If you keep thinking negatively, you will become used to it. You build the habit of thinking negatively and start to make a pattern that will help you start thinking negatively easily.

So, if you can break the pattern, you can make a new habit that could break that negativity, which is leads to

Being aware

Being aware is so important!

Not only would it help you to know when you were thinking negatively, but it would also help you to start moving in a new direction of thinking.

Just do nothing

I don’t want you to start thinking positively and just forget about negative thoughts, but I want you to acknowledge them and do nothing about them.

If you find yourself thinking negatively, just be aware that you are thinking that way and then do nothing about it. After that, you can focus on

Repeating it

Consistency is the key.

The more you break the pattern or are aware, the more you will decrease your energy towards negativity.

Then you can build the habit of being aware, which leads to peacefulness.

Tips on how to become more aware:

1. Journaling

helps you write down your thoughts and makes your mind visible by writing them down. You can read it word for word and become aware, or maybe ask yourself why you think that way.

2. Meditating

helps you sit down with your own mind.

You might become bored but try to become aware of your thoughts, or maybe you could be dragged by your own mind (negativity). The more you are aware of it, the better you are at becoming aware of your own thinking patterns.

3. Sitting down with your emotions

It is similar to staring at a wall.

You will start to feel uncomfortable or bored, but what you need to do is just take a deep breath and let it be. The more you do it, the more you will relax, not only from the breathing but also from letting it go.

The interesting thing about breathing is that, when you change your breathing pattern to slow, you will become calmer, and your thoughts will follow your breathing pattern.

If you breathe rapidly, you will feel discomfort the same way your thinking follows them.

At the end, just focus on being aware

We found ourselves stuck in negativity.

We act negatively towards other people, and the more we do it, the more we get used to it. Even so, we could break the pattern and start building positive thinking.

Being aware of what you think could help you become calmer and more controlled with your mind.

Then you can choose to become positive and peaceful.
