Credit Saison launched “SAISON JP Life Assist” for foreign nationals
Credit Saison has launched “SAISON JP Life Assist,” a portal site to support foreign nationals living in Japan, including foreign students and workers. Foreign nationals are expected to increase in number in the future, and the launch of the portal site is one part of Credit Saison’s efforts to become a “GLOBAL NEO FINANCE COMPANY — A global comprehensive life services group with finance as our core.” Through the portal site, Credit Saison will offer comprehensive life support to foreign nationals living in Japan.
As part of Credit Saison’s efforts to find solutions for foreign nationals, whose numbers are expected to increase, Credit Saison has been investigating the possibility of utilizing the company’s resources, including the know-how accumulated in the card business, the range of financial services, and a wide variety of partners. In December 2023, the company began offering the “Saison Rent Guarantee Sales Plan for Foreign Nationals,” a service exclusively for foreign nationals. Credit Saison now launched the portal site to support the foundations for foreign nationals’ everyday lives in Japan.
Credit Saison offers a diverse lineup of services related to “housing,” “infrastructure for daily life,” and “day-to-day living,” according to different life stages. Currently, support is given in Japanese and English, with plans to increase the number of supported languages in the future.
Services that have already been launched
- “Housing”: Assistance when signing leases
- “Infrastructure for daily life”: Support opening bank accounts, obtaining telecommunication services (SIM cards), electricity, gas, water, and Internet procedures
- “Day-to-day living”: Interpretation services and international money transfer procedures
Credit Saison will continue to add new services to meet foreign nationals’ needs, such as assistance in finding rental properties in Japan. The company will also expand the languages supported on the portal site to help foreign nationals build foundations for their lives in Japan with peace of mind.
