How many arguments do you have with your partner daily? Take a moment to think about the last argument you had with them. Was it about something important, or were you just arguing about whose turn is it to do the laundry?

It is normal to have a clash of opinions with your partner on certain things. On average a couple argues seven times a day, and 2,455 times a year. Money problems and laziness are the top two reasons for these petty arguments. So, for the love of god wash the damn dishes and don't go on a senseless shopping spree.

A study was done by the University of California, Berkeley studied 156 couples for over 20 years, to determine the effects of arguments between partners on their long-term health.

This study concluded various negative outcomes of arguing. Researchers found out that short-tempered participants prone to angry outbursts were likely to develop cardiovascular issues. While the participants who shut down their emotions and ignored the problems suffered from musculoskeletal ailments such as bad back or stiff muscles.
