How to Withdraw and Re-stake SPANK

As reported before on September 5th, a critical bug was found in the original SpankBank. A token vote to close the SpankBank was then passed, and the new, updated SpankBank was deployed. On October 1st the original SpankBank contract will be retired.

If you staked SPANK before September 5th, you have have 1 week left to withdraw!

This can easily be done by connecting the wallet you staked from on bank.spankchain.com, and clicking the Withdraw button following the steps below.

Step 1: Go to https://bank.spankchain.com

Step 2: Unlock your Original Staking Wallet (MetaMask or Ledger) and Click the Respective Button to Connect

Step 3: Click Withdraw stake from previous contract

If you don’t see the Withdraw button pop up, you can verify whether or not you actually staked in this version of the SpankBank by searching for your address in the contract page on Etherscan here.

Step 4: Confirm Transaction

SPANK will be immediately sent back to your wallet, the “Withdraw stake..” button will disappear and be replaced by the “Stake your SPANK” button. You can then safely re-stake following either the guides for MetaMask or Ledger.
