In this post I’d like to introduce you to 5 tools that we use all the time at Blossom. Actually by now it’s really hard for me to imagine what we would do without them.

Here we go …

Intercom

If you want to create a great product for your customers it is really important to understand their situation, what they want to achieve and how you can help them.

Intercom really is a game changer here. It is an elegant customer engagement and customer relationship management tool that you can tightly integrate with your product.

Mention

It is incredibly hard to stay on top of what’s happening on twitter, facebook, hackernews, reddit, blogs and all the other platforms that are out there.

Mention is a super slick app that helps you to monitor and react to all the public activity surrounding your product. It’s easy to get aware of and join conversations and to help people out when they have a hard time.

Super easy to use. Saves a lot of time & nerves.

Buffer

Most of our revenue at Blossom is generated through content marketing. That’s why we care a lot about how we distribute helpful content to our community through social media.

Buffer is an amazing content marketing tool that helps us to manage and schedule posts for all major social media platforms in one place. But Buffer doesn’t only save us time, it also has integrated analytics that show us what works and what doesn’t.

A one-stop-shop for social media distribution.

Mandrill

Sending automated emails that actually end up in the inbox of your customers is probably one of the fundamental features of almost any app that should just work without any issues.

No matter if it is the welcome email or emails for password reset functionality or notifications about important things that happened. We want to make sure that these emails actually end up in the inbox of our customers.

Mandrill is an excellent transactional email service that we use to send emails to our customers.

Super easy to integrate & impressive delivery rates.

Blossom

We’ve initially built Blossom because we wanted to have a more efficient way to hold Stand-Up Meetings and to better understand who is working on what & how far certain features are in our development process.

In the meantime we’ve also added tight integrations with Slack, HipChat, Flowdock and GitHub as well as performance analytics which made Blossom indispensable to our software development efforts.

If you are looking for a slick Kanban board, give us a try ☺
