Happy Monday! Dev Update day again! Check out our updates below and let us know if you have any questions!

If you haven’t yet, be sure to join our Reddit community and come discuss this week’s update.

Seneca

  • Work completed on low-level design overhaul and flattening configuration and data paths through code. We are taking a critical look at how data is passed through and manipulated in different parts of Seneca and changing it to follow a more logical structure.
  • Completed the dynamic module loader and scoping to handle permissioning.
  • Finished the first version of new data types that will allow smart contract integration with the database layer. With these new data types you are required to explicitly predefine all of the resources you will need from the blockchain prior to deploying your contract, and you are namespaced into using those.
  • Worked on design of contract execution sandbox process that will allow for greater security and reliability.
  • Worked on linter error checking and dumping . The linter checks the validity of smart contract submissions and whether our platform supports them.
  • Minor fixes with respect to our code restructure and our local test environment.

Lamden Swaps

  • Worked on documenting the process on gitbook to aid people in using Lamden Swaps and the Lamden Wallet.

What’s Next?

We will complete the smart contract execution sandbox. We will also continue to flatten out and solidify Seneca code. Additionally, we will continue to document the Lamden Swaps and Lamden Wallet process on gitbook.
