Busy

Life lately:
Feels cluttered and
Rushed
Feels like I’m
Always running low
A little burnt out
Is how I’m feeling —

Life lately:
Feels too busy
Too much
Like I’m running on
A hamster wheel
That won’t stop turning

Life lately:
Feels like a leftover
Meal,
That I don’t have time
To finish
It feels like I need to simplify
And cut away
At anything
That is unimportant

Life lately:
Feels like defining what
Is important to me,
It feels like
Thinking for myself
(Independence)

…It feels like growing up.
