Birdwatcher Christian Cooper is Getting His Own Show…Why?

The man from the infamous Central Park Birdwatching Incident is Technically a “Karen”

In 2020, racial-related issues were given an even bigger spotlight in response to the death of George Floyd. On May 25th, 2020, the exact same day the Floyd incident began receiving instant coverage, so too did a race-related incident where zero death or injuries were sustained.

The favored narrative of the Central Park Bird Watching Incident is that a man named Christian Cooper innocently asked Amy Cooper (coincidently, they have the same last name) to follow the park rules and leash her free-ranging dog, and after Amy refused, she vindictively dialed 911 and told the operator that a black man was threatening her life, all while apparently strangling her dog on its leash. Part of the confrontation and Amy’s retaliation were all caught on film, which propelled it into social media virality.
