An interview with Gleb Markov, co-founder and COO at Crypterium.

The 3 months before the hardcap were the most thrilling ones in my life. As Crypterium’s team, we learned and achieved a lot. This wasn’t an easy journey by any means, but we endured it due to the team’s hard work and motivation: we all knew we were creating a product destined to help a huge number of people for years to come.

We were unstoppable on our way to success, and we managed to reach all our goals — and even more than that.

What’s next?

We’ve got a truly breathtaking roadmap in front of us. Our main goal right now is to release the first version of our product and to start perfecting it in action.

I’m pretty sure Crypterium’s app will go through significant changes over the coming year. Functions will be added, swapped and modified. As with any fintech project, our first year will be a series of tests and experiments — a process which cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies provide a fertile ground for.

We are glad to welcome all the token holders we currently have. Lucky them: owning CRPT tokens will give them access to Crypterium app’s full functionality.

For us, the line between “CRPT token holders” and “Crypterium app users” is blurred: we are sure these two groups will eventually merge into one.

We are launching the product right now; the app itself will go live in the first half of 2018. The first version will be released on Android for technical reasons.

We may possibly release several apps instead of just one. For instance, a version dealing strictly with cryptocurrencies — Crypterium Lite — may appear, but we can’t say for sure yet.

What about the tokens?

We’re following a separate roadmap regarding token development. There’s much to be done: for instance, we must assist with creating an open market for CRPT tokens. This is a crucial point, since CRPT tokens are the only means of paying transaction fees when using our product.

As I’ve mentioned, only our token holders will have access to the app’s full functionality. This means new users, who have just learned about our product, will also desire to buy CRPT tokens. But where can they do that? Unless a fully-fledged open market for our tokens is created, such users will have trouble becoming CRPT token holders — which will hinder our business’s development as a result. Obviously, this is something we should never let happen.

Thus, there are several points for us to consider:

  1. We’re working on creating an accessible, coherent, fully-fledged open market for CRPT tokens, so that new users could easily buy them;
  2. We also keep developing our business and providing news coverage of the whole process.

A brilliant future awaits us, and we’re going to tell you much about our new ideas and the ways we apply them. Our token sale may have come to an end, but we aren’t going anywhere, so stay tuned!
