Launching GSLA: Global Supply Chain & Logistics Alliance
On November 7th, 2018, TEMCO and LogisticsX signed an MOU to launch GSLA: Global Supply Chain & Logistics Alliance. The alliance is led by TEMCO, and LogisticsX is delighted to be the first member onboard. With this alliance, members are able to share resources and insights to build a stronger network of supply chain and logistics blockchain projects and relevant businesses across the world.
The Global Supply Chain and Logistics Alliance (GSLA) is solving supply chain management problems across the globe by partnering with other supply chain and logistics blockchain projects and industry experts. While there are many innovations introduced in this space, there are still many hurdles and questions to be solved because of the differences in regulations, culture, language, and business ecosystem. GSLA can improve the awareness of the problem and share ideas to create a better solution.
Localization is one of the key problems when companies expand overseas. Currently, there aren’t any initiatives to solve such problem even though the benefit of blockchain project is decentralized. No single blockchain project can navigate every details of the business ecosystem in every country. Through expertise gained from operating in each country’s ecosystem, GSLA partners will seek out a joint solution. Each project is a valuable advisor and expert of its country, industry, and ecosystem. By working together, GSLA can truly develop a decentralized solution to the existing supply chain and logistics problems.

Many supply chain and logistics blockchain projects have shown interest in joining GSLA. Going forward, GSLA plans to host offline events that includes networking, learning opportunities, and idea sharing. Many blockchain industry experts are excited about the alliance, and they hope to see a spark in the conventional supply chain and logistics industry.
