Miyake Island, within 50 min by airplane from Tokyo is one of the Izu archipelago as well as Hachijō Island. Which is also known for an island volcano. It may be still fresh in our mind that the volcano erupted in 2000. However, it must remain one of the most fascinating seeing spots. Not to mention the beautifully clear ocean, you will get lost in the magnificent view of the sunset. Therefore, it makes sense photographers visit just for shooting it. Plus, a lot of species of wild birds exist there, which is the reason why it’s also called the Bird Island.
