(Spoiler Warning: This review will have big spoilers for “Halloween Ends”. If you intend to see “Halloween Ends” without spoilers, please turn back now.)

Alright, finally, we’ve gotten through it. 13 films, done roughly daily, with some skips to make sure this comes out…. October 30th, but most people will probably read it on Halloween, so no harm, no foul? It’s been fun, and it got me excited to do film reviews again, which I might do regularly with TV and comic book reviews and maybe some out-of-the-box stuff. It really restarted my writing energy.

And what a one to go off on. It literally ends with “ends”, meaning finality (or at least until Blumhouse and Universal decide to milk the franchise again in a few years), and it’s been very controversial. People have been talking about this entry (and I had seen some spoilers for the plot, so be warned). Some even are petitioning to have the film reshoot (I’m dead serious)

First big spoiler: I didn’t much care for this film. In fact, I disliked it a fair bit. However…. come on, this franchise had Busta Rhymes doing kung fu against Michael Myers. It had an entry that was basically taken apartand Frankenstein’d back together from reshoots because the studio got cold feet over prescreenings. But this is apparently too much? I could think of other entries that could benefit from reshooting the whole thing.
