Ok so, ever since I published my $10,000 per month on OnlyFans guide, people have been on my camlordian butt to explain how true beginners, who have zero knowledge about the business, can create an OnlyFans account.

Not just how to create one, but how to get started on OnlyFans without followers and with virtually no startup capital.

Obviously, any Joe or Jane Sixpack can sign up on OnlyFans and create an account, so what we’re talking about here is how to make an OnlyFans account that is successful — in other words, one that generates some serious cha-cha.

Making money on OnlyFans with a brand new account, no followers, and virtually no money is actually VERY doable, but you need to go about it the right way.

It’s not uncommon for content creators who leverage webcam modeling to make over $10,000 within 90 days on OnlyFans. Check out my Uber Fans Magnet course here for in-depth training on this powerful tactic.

The magic formula behind that process is what this guide will lay out. Honestly, I don’t even know why I’m putting this out there for free — it must be that I’m as baked as a pecan pie on Thanksgiving at the moment. But whatever, take advantage of my weed-induced lapse of business judgment.

Oh, I’ll also be touching on the topic of boosting your OnlyFans revenues by targeting big spender “whales” and cultivating them to become “superfans” on your account, so be sure to read this whole mamawhopper! Again, I’m stoned AF, so might as well back up the truck and get all the goodies.

Create An OnlyFans Account — Set Up Info

First order of business will be to go and create an OnlyFans account, then submit your ID and get verified by the platform. The verification process can take a couple days, so you should get on that pronto. You can sign up at OnlyFans with my link here. (I’ll get a small commission on your earnings, but it comes out of the platform’s share, NOT yours, so you’ll make the same.)

Some things to consider when creating an OnlyFans account are; the kind of niche/fetish you’d like to appeal to (if any), your display name (the name people will see when they land on your page), your bio content, and whether you’d like to create a free or paid OnlyFans account (or both).

Fetish OnlyFans Accounts

Appealing to various fetishes can give you an edge when marketing your OnlyFans, because fetishists tend to be more likely to spend money on content related to their kinks, and the competition from other content creators and models is generally much less than in vanilla niches.

Keep in mind, though, that OnlyFans is not too tolerant of edgy fetishes, but the mainstream ones like feet, findom, and the like are just fine. Those also happen to be fantastic kinks to cater to, moneywise. Plus, when you’re trying to create an OnlyFans without followers, fetish appeal can help a lot because people into the kink are much easier to attract.

Getting Your OnlyFans Display Name Right

You will need to decide on a marketable display name for your account and model persona. Keep in mind that this name should be the same name you use on all of your other accounts that are associated with your adult business. This is important because it makes it MUCH easier for fans to find your OnlyFans through search engines.

Also, even though you may not be starting your OnlyFans career with established social media accounts, you will probably eventually have them. So you definitely want to make sure that you pick a name that will be kosher on adult-unfriendly platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Don’t pick a name like “DebbieDongLover,” for instance.

You need to know how to start your OnlyFans in a way that is compatible with long-term growth of your brand, so picking the right name is essential.

Uniqueness of the name will serve you well, too, because the last thing you want is to be the least well-known “Barbi Brady” of like 30 other models with the same, or similar, name. Fans will never be able to find you on Google, which is actually how many fans find the OnlyFans accounts of models they first spot on TikTok, for example.

Take this seriously, but at the same time, don’t overthink it. I usually advise models to just pick a word they like (kitty, pony, pickles, love, cherry, etc) and combine it with another word picked randomly. Actually, “random” works great. Kitty Random, Pony Random, Cherry Random. Jesus Christ, I’m good at this, am I not? Heheeee. God, I’m really freaking stoned.

But you get the picture. If you spend more than 10 minutes selecting your model name, you’re probably doing it wrong. Be sure to Google the name you settle on to make sure some other clever mofo hasn’t already taken it.

Your OnlyFans Bio and Profile

Ok, so what you definitely don’t want to do when you start an OnlyFans without followers is to fill your bio with something like “I sell hardcore content, bitches. Subscribe!” Your bio should show some personality and give potential subscribers an idea of who you are as a person, as well as give them a full explanation of the kind of content you produce.

Firstly, if you’re catering to a particular fetish, definitely mention that up front. Be clear about your personal interest in the fetish, how much you love to please fans with content related to it, and so on. Then tell them what kind of content exactly they can expect after subscribing.

Start an OnlyFans account with a well-crafted bio description that tempts and informs at the same time. Try to connect to your fans’ interests while also explaining what they will get when they subscribe.

In your bio, you have an opportunity to tempt fans into subscribing by giving an example of what you did in one of your hottest videos. You can also talk about collabs you do (or plan to do), whether you like to sext with your subscribers, whether you like to rate penises, and so on. Really get into all that, it turns people on and drives subscriptions.

You will also need to upload a profile picture and a header image for your OnlyFans page, but keep in mind that these must NOT contain nudity or anything explicit. Keep it sexy, but SFW (Safe-For-Work).

Starting a Free Vs Paid OnlyFans

When you start an OnlyFans, you will need to decide whether you wish your account to be free to subscribe to, or paid monthly subscription. Now, you’re probably saying “Buttler, WTAF…I’m not going into the OnlyFans business for purposes of erotic charity, my brother…why in the name of blue balls would I make my account FREE?!?”

Well, actually, using a free OnlyFans account can generate quite a bit of money too, you’d be surprised. You see, free OnlyFans pages are often used by content creators to “warm up” fans that aren’t ready to spend money just yet. Maybe they’re interested, aroused, intrigued, but not yet rock-hard enough to actually let go of any simoleons to consume your content.

By allowing subscribers to access your free account, you’re providing yourself with a marketing avenue that allows you to DM them with tempting messages that wear down their resistance over time.

Free accounts can be effective “warm-up chambers,” where you can gradually bring fans along into a buying mood. Starting a free OnlyFans account makes sense when you have a lot of social media followers that are not yet ready to spend money.

Eventually, many of them will breakdown and spend money on your PPV (Pay-Per-View) content. PPV content requires a subscriber to “unlock” it by paying a fee, and it’s one of the most powerful monetization methods on the OnlyFans platform.

Paid OnlyFans accounts also have their advantages, especially for “qualifying” fans. By requiring people to pay a reasonable monthly fee to subscribe, you weed out the folks who will probably never spend a dime on you. This makes it easier on content creators who are trying to figure out who to spend time on. If a subscriber spends some money once, he will likely spend more down the road.

It must be noted that having BOTH a free and a paid OnlyFans account is a popular practice among content creators. They generally use the free account to warm up fans for the paid account, but as I mentioned, free accounts are also often used to generate revenues through PPV.

My recommendation for beginners without followers is to start a paid OnlyFans first, then add a free account as your traffic sources begin to build. When you’ve built up thousands of followers on social media, for example, it can be a great move to pump them into your free OnlyFans for some warming up.

How To Create Content For Your OnlyFans

When you start an OnlyFans, you will need to obviously also produce content for it. Now, as I said in the opening of this guide, we’re assuming you’re completely broke and have no money to invest in any kind of camera equipment.

We’re also assuming that you, no matter how broke you are, nevertheless own a smartphone. If that’s the case, we’re in business.

You might now be saying “Buttler, yeah I got a smartphone, buddy, but I wouldn’t use it to record schnauzers dragging their asses on carpet flooring. The camera sucks, how am I supposed to use it for OnlyFans??”

The one thing people interested in creating an OnlyFans often fail to get is that the content that sells best on the platform is actually not highly produced or polished at all. It’s actually the amateurish content that does best, and there’s a good reason for that.

OnlyFans is ideally about amateurs sharing their private sex lives with subscribers. It’s less about erotic art and more about raw, real sexual expression.

Guys who spend money on OnlyFans content are typically interested in the intimate realms of “real” people and their sex lives, not high-production-value porn.

They want to get to know you, follow your sexy adventures, and feel like they’re getting a peek into your everyday world of erotic experiences. If everything about the content you’re producing seems professionally produced, it’s actually a turn-off most of the time.

So, if your phone camera is rather crappy, well then good. Should help sales. You want your content to scream “I’m a total freaking noobie and I haven’t a clue what I’m doing, but here’s me getting sexy for you anyway!!” It really arouses these guys to know you’re a “real” person, trust me.

Batching Content

One of the biggest stumbling blocks creators on OnlyFans run into is trying to consistently produce a steady stream of content for their page, which is essential to retaining subscribers month to month. If you try to make a little content everyday, it can be difficult to keep consistent.

The solution is to “batch” your content production, which means you simply take a day or two during the week to just produce a bunch of images and videos for your OnlyFans. Then, you can schedule the content on your account to post in a staggered fashion over the next several weeks.

Most content creators find that producing a bunch of content at the beginning of each week or month dramatically improves post consistency on their OnlyFans.

This generally works quite well because it ensures that you will have enough content to post every single day for weeks, which sends the signal to subscribers that you’re serious about providing them value. This, in turn, dramatically improves subscriber retention, which means they will keep recurring month to month.

One of the biggest problems in OnlyFansLand is piss poor subscriber retention due to inconsistent content posting. Don’t less this be you, muchachos and muchachettes.

OnlyFans PPV Content Posts

Ok so, as I mentioned above, somewhere up there, PPV (Pay-Per-View) content posts are deadly effective when it comes to monetizing your subscribers. The main reason for this is that PPV content has the feel of already being in your fans’ possession. But they can’t consume it until they “unlock” it by paying the fee. I shall explain.

A PPV post can be sent straight to your fans’ inboxes on OnlyFans. It would include some tease copy and ideally a preview image to entice your fans. It would also display the unlock fee that a subscriber would need to pay in order to view the content. It might be $10, it might be $50, or whatever you decide.

PPVs can be sent via DM (direct message) to your subscribers. You must set an unlock fee that will be paid by each subscriber who wishes to view the content.

When the PPV lands in your subscribers’ DMs, they get the sense that they already have it in their possession, but they can’t yet open it. In other words, it’s like having a stash of premium OG Kush locked away in your strongbox, but you don’t have the key.

So, technically, you’ve got some bomb-ass weed in your possession, but you can’t actually smoke that heavenly ganja until you find that damn key.

Well, same thing with a piece of PPV content. Your subscriber feels like he already has that hot-sounding tiddy oiling video in his possession, because it’s sitting right there in his inbox. Only problem is, it needs to be unlocked for 10 bucks. He now faces a dilemma.

Either he pays the 10 bucks to unlock the content, or he deals with the very unpleasant sense of losing something he already feels is his. The fear of losing something is far more compelling in human psychology than the hope of gaining something. This is called “Loss Aversion Bias,” and it is one of the most powerful concepts in digital marketing, or marketing of any kind.

The PPV content marketing strategy leverages the natural human aversion to loss in order to stimulate sales. Loss Aversion Bias is widely exploited by savvy digital marketers to dramatically improve their numbers.

People will usually seek to avoid feeling that sense of loss if the solution is relatively painless. So, in the case of your subscriber, all he has to do is hand over 10 bucks and he solves the problem. This is why so many OnlyFans creators can almost print money using PPV content marketing. Again, deadly effective.

Let’s just take a moment to appreciate the fact that I was able to rather lucidly describe the above marketing concept, despite me being completely fried out of my gourd as I write this. I continue to impress myself on the daily, people, I’m not even lying. They don’t call me a “Camlord” for nuthin’.

Tips For OnlyFans PPV Marketing

  • Use an enticing description of the content that focuses on your subscriber. Tell him how much fun you had creating the content “for him” and how much you think HE will enjoy watching it.
  • Always include a good, tempting preview picture of the content in your message. This can DOUBLE the unlock rate.
  • At the end of the description, reinforce the idea that the content is already his. Say things like “It’s already here waiting for you, all you have to do is unlock it!”

How To Start an OnlyFans Promotion Campaign

Ok, so after your account is set up, you’ve got some spicy content up on it, and you’ve designed your monetization strategy, you will need to get subscribers. OnlyFans doesn’t really have any on-platform traffic sources for you, so you will need to find your own.

Starting an OnlyFans without followers on social media requires some cleverness, so pay attention here, because I literally named my pet Yorkie “Clever” and I’m obviously therefore qualified to instruct on this.

There are other ways to do this, but none are as deadly effective as leveraging cam sites — here’s why.

In my over 10 years experience coaching webcam models, the one thing that became clear to me above all else was that webcam modeling is a ridiculously efficient way to attract devoted fans who will spend vast amounts of money on adult models.

Webcam modeling allows content creators to form connections with their viewers that translate to OnlyFans subscriptions much more easily than interactions on social media. Being able to see you as they interact with you live is huge.

I’ve seen these guys lay down truly massive tips (like $5,000 worth of tokens in one tip bomb), buy cars for models, shower girls with expensive gifts, and even pay for boob jobs.

In the age of OnlyFans, webcam modeling has become one of those tricks that the smart content creators use and don’t talk about, if you know what I mean. But I’m a camlord of the people, so I’m not about to hold back precious knowledge.

Let me cut to the chase and explain in sexy bullet points why webcam modeling works so well when you’re starting an OnlyFans without followers:

  • When you debut on a cam site, traffic basically finds you quickly. If you use the right cam site, you will most likely have plenty of eyeballs on you within minutes of starting a camming session. Check out my blog post on best cam sites to use here.
  • By spending time with viewers on a live stream, you’re actually building a connection with them that can dramatically increase their likelihood of subscribing to your OnlyFans.
  • You will be making money AS you cultivate new subscribers for your OnlyFans, because viewers will tip you or buy shows, if you decide to offer them.
  • There are a lot of “whales” on cam sites who like to spend HUGE sums on adult creators and models. In other words, big spenders galore. Getting these guys over to your OnlyFans is like printing money, I tell no lies. These are the chaps who become “superfans,” and you definitely want as many as you can get. They LOVE to hang out on cam sites.

Now, in order to use this promotion method, you will need a laptop computer (or desktop with a webcam). If you don’t have one, borrowing one to try this out would be a really good idea, trust me.

The basic principles you need to keep in mind as you apply this method are the following:

  • Make sure to try to go on cam each day at around the same time of day, so that viewers who turn on to you can easily find you again. Most viewers visit cam sites at around the same time of day, so syncing up with their schedule makes it more likely that they will be on when you’re on.
  • Don’t expect to make any significant amount of money in tips during the first several sessions. This is perfectly normal, every new webcam model experiences this. As you build up regulars, tipping will start happening more and more.
  • You do NOT have to be nude on cam for this method to work. There are plenty of successful webcam models who are “non-nude,” meaning they just hang out and chat with viewers on their streams. However, if you DO wish to get a bit spicier, that can certainly accelerate your results.

Believe me, I’ve seen this method work like a charm for quite a few people, but the one thing they all have in common is that they didn’t quit early. As I mentioned above, the first few sessions will be dry AF because you’re new. You should go in with that understanding, because after several sessions, things can turn around DRAMATICALLY.

Follow my tips and you will likely be VERY pleased ultimately, I suspect. Also, if you want to employ my most advanced tricks with this method, check out my Uber Fans Magnet course here, which goes crazy deep into how to attract and cultivate the biggest spenders.

Alright people, I have absolutely no clue how my profoundly baked ass produced all of this remarkably coherent content, but miracles happen, I suppose. Follow me for more tips on spicy content marketing, and bash that clap button for me if you found any value in this “start an OnlyFans” guide.

And I mean BASH it, people, come on. Smack it around like it owes you money or something. Ciao, bellas!
