Since 2007, Dirk Coetzer has served as managing director of the Luxembourg-based Firminy Capital Sarl. Also involved in charitable giving, Dirk Coetzer contributes to organizations such as Save the Rhino, which will host its Ride the Coast event in South Africa from October 6 through 15, 2017.

Ride the Coast gives participants the opportunity to bike along South Africa’s beautiful coastline while raising funds to save local rhinos. Riders will take the famous Garden route, which features a variety of landscapes, from deserted beaches and indigenous bush to inland vineyards and forested mountain slopes. The 10-day ride concludes at Gordon’s Bay with views of the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Peninsula.

To join the ride, participants must either raise funds to cover the cost of their participation as well as the cause of saving the rhinos or pay a portion of their costs while agreeing to raise as much as possible for the rhinos. The cost of the trip includes all transportation between London and Port Elizabeth/Cape Town and admission fees to the National Park and other attractions along the route.
