I’ve been looking for a discreet overview of the history and design of Xanadu for the last few weeks and the best I’ve been able to find is Ted’s YouTube videos — they provide thorough documentation but sifting through the videos is difficult (ironically because YouTube isn’t like Xanadu!)I’m currently making an attempt to build a working model of Xanadu in Processing for the sake of demonstrating what such a system is capable of. Kind of a miniature, “Mother of All Demos” (God bless Douglas Engelbart!) Anyway — cheers and thanks so much for compiling all this information.
