Code review undoubtedly plays an important part in ensuring engineering quality in software development

During review sessions, the role of REVIEWERS is as important as the PR OWNERS, but we rarely talk about it. Therefore, today we would focus on the REVIEWERS side of code review.

Without the right mindsets and approaches, reviewers can make code review sessions unproductive, time-consuming, and unpleasant. This would negatively impact the time-to-market of features and, especially, engineering experience.

In this article, we would talk about the mentalities, approaches, and behaviors to become a more productive and effective REVIEWER, and, contribute the most to code review sessions.
