Axie Origin is Live — For many of us who are big players in the # PlayToEarn or #P2EGame industry, Axie origin is here with amazing new features. As an axie infinity freak myself, I really appreciate the team for the latest improvement, and one of which I am most delighted with is the Free Starter Axies.
On Axie Classic ( The first Version ) Users have to acquire some packs of axie to start playing the game which was discouraging for many people cause these axies were not really cheap but with the Free Starter Axie Players can now practice and explore the game before purchasing their first axies.
What is Axie Infinity
Axie Infinity is a monster breeding and fighting game. Axie Infinity started up on the Ethereum network, but in 2021, they switched to the Ronin sidechain and introduced a staking mechanism for their AXS governance coin. In Adventure mode (PvE) and the Arena, players employ three Axie NFTs to combat opponents (PvP). Smooth Love Potions (SLP) and AXS, Axie Infinity’s governance token, are among the Arena’s rewards.
SLP is used by players to breed young Axies. Furthermore, parent Axies can only have a limited number of offspring. For many people in nations like the Philippines, earning SLP tokens has become a source of income. Third-party organizations, such as Yield Guild Games, are developing tools and networks to foster actual play for profit.
Loaning out Axies as scholarships have been a common practice for generating value for Axie owners while also giving play-to-earn chances for folks who would not otherwise be able to finance an Axie squad.

Axie Origin Gameplay Tutorials
Axie Infinity: Origin is a brand new experience for our gamers, so we’ve added tutorials to help even the most experienced players get started. Many new mechanics and features are yet to be disclosed in these lessons, so be sure to check them out! As you go through the PvE Adventure mode, you’ll learn more about Lunacia’s rich history and narrative by conversing with other Starter Axies.

Axie Origin New Features
New features introduced with this Early Access release include:
- Free starter Axies. Let your friends and family fall in love with Axie before needing to touch crypto and NFTs!
- Upgraded Axie art makes each Axie more visually distinct and special.
- Sequential turns for a faster, more dynamic experience.
- Energy / cards are reset each turn to encourage aggressive play-styles.
- Card changes. We’ve kept most cards in line with their original spirit.
- Eye & Ear Cards. This is the first time that eyes & ears have ever had cards!
- Runes / Charms as power-ups. Our first glimpse of Axie progression and upgrading is here!
- Critical Hits have been replaced by a Rage mechanic.
Non-NFT charms and runs are available in the Early Access version, however, NFT versions will be available in the full game at a later time. Crafting some Runes, Charms, and other things in Early Access is possible without SLP but will require SLP for the final launch version.
Future plans include employing Charms & Runes of different levels together, as well as the use of Axie release materials to create some of these items, as well as many more ideas. NFT Axies will be able to access several cards that are currently exclusively available to Starter Axies.
Rewards
No SLP or AXS will be rewarded in Origin at this time because this is the Alpha version for testing. When we are ready to deprecate Classic and migrate token prizes to Origin, Battles v2 (Classic) will continue to operate in parallel. Over the following several weeks, we’ll learn more about the timeframe for this shift, based on comments from the community.
Balancing
Please be aware that we will be making quick revisions to the balance of Cards, Runes, and Charms as we collect data and input from the community. You should expect to see a lot of powerful cards and card combinations. Due to the rapid rebalancing that will occur during Early Access, it is not prudent to base your market judgments on the existing power dynamics. There will be a complete reset of all Early Access items, so keep that in mind.
In Seasons, the fight meta in Origin will vary due to the introduction, deprecation and modifications of various components such as:
- Charms & Runes
- Body Parts
- Gameplay Mechanics
- Class Attributes
Every competitive game requires frequent upgrades in order to remain an engaging and interesting experience for players.

The main game may now be played for free thanks to the introduction of non-NFT Starter Axies! It’s never been easier to share it with your loved ones. Finally, new players will be able to understand the game and fall in love with the cosmos before they have to touch crypto or NFTs.
How To Play Axie Origin
The gameplay for axie origin is still similar to the gameplay of Axie Classic but with few advanced improvements to the interface and the introduction of charms and runes to improve the gameplay for users. Below are some advance information released by the Mavis Hub Team.
Existing Players
With the addition of free non-NFT Starter Axies, the main game may now be tried for free! It’s never been simpler to invite your friends and family to test it out. Finally, new players will be able to discover the game and fall in love with the cosmos without having to touch crypto or NFTs!
New Player
Players who are new to Axie can establish a new Sky Mavis account by clicking Register on the Axie Origin login page. You may start playing Origin with that account right away!
When you’re ready to purchase your first blockchain Axie, you’ll need to create a Ronin wallet and deposit* or buy some ETH. Next, log into the marketplace and link your Ronin wallet. Now you are ready to buy Axies!
