Shai Dahan

New work by Shai Dahan (b. 1979), American contemporary painter and street artist. These three life size horse are commissioned by the city of Gotheburg to be installed around Gothenburg at the FEI European Championships Gothenburg 2017 as well as the Gothenburg Horse Show in March. They are the first three to be revealed of a set of ten.

From left to right: “Chloros”, the greek word for green, is decorated with a typical Swedish pine tree forest and rolling hills on the other side. “Antheia” the Greek mythology name for the goddess of flowers and “Colette”, Greek for “People of Victory” decorated in the official colours of the FEI with pixilated bits of confetti.
