“What are your credentials?”

This is a question almost everyone of us ask ourselves. It is not just the question that we ask ourselves with shame, but it is also the question that we are fearful of having being asked to us by others. We all at some level think that we’re a fraud. We think we don’t deserve what we have and one day it’s all going to be taken away from us. We imagine this person called the “Fraud Police” who’s going to one day come and knock at our door and tell us that “I’ve been looking for you. I am going to take everything from you. You’re a fraud!”.

You can run to prove your authenticity by chasing after degrees and diploma to prove your legitimacy. But those really doesn’t help. The only thing that can shut the fraud police in you up is yourself. You need to understand that the only permission you need in order to do something is from yourself. Give yourself the permission to follow your dreams and do the things that you love doing.

It starts with you accepting yourself.
