Ask us anything. Our editorial team is standing by.

You can always ask Google your questions, and now Alexa, but many questions require several searches and probably some additional digging. What is my city doing about the bad roads? How are my tax dollars being used in local schools? Why are some parks in my community better cared for than others?

Today, Pactio is rolling out an “ask us anything” feature so you can get the latest answers to your questions about your community. We are a platform that connects people directly to journalists, and we are on a mission to provide you with the news and information you need about the place you call home.

To get started, we need to know what’s on your mind. What is up with composting in L.A? How will the growth of my community impact the water supply? Why are all the trees in my neighborhood crooked? These are questions you’ve already asked, and we’ve answered. We’re now open to questions that go beyond the subject areas already covered by our featured journalists. Our editorial team is ready hear from residents of the SF Bay Area, L.A. and the greater Salt Lake City region. If you don’t live in these cities, that’s ok. Ask anyway, and we will get back to you too, but it might just take a little longer.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Submit your question at pactio.us.
  2. We’ll send you an email letting you know we’re working on your question.
  3. We’ll send you an answer, and an option to link up with a journalist if you want additional information.

Have questions about Pactio, or how this all works? Reach us hello@pactio.us. And remember, no question is a stupid question.
