Paddl Goes Live
On the 31st of March the CareerLounge Team launched its latest product, Paddl, at an exciting launch party at Deakin Edge, Federation Square. Politicians from the likes of Senator the Hon Scott Ryan and the Hon Philip Dalidakis made key speeches alongside CEO of Ai Group Innes Willox and Deakin University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Beverley Oliver. All praised the innovative product and its benefits for Educators, Students and Employers alike.
During the launch, our major Employer partners (Myer, Ai Group, Metro Trains, Crown, LoanMarket and Australia Post) all participated in a live demo with eager young Students from Deakin University, Holmesglen and Entamio. Using Paddl, Students were connected to jobs relevant to their course of study and were able to apply and interview for the jobs on the spot.

The atmosphere was buzzing as the live demo came to a conclusion, Paddl accounts had been activated and jobs were ready to be applied for by Students. The launch was a huge success leaving everyone enthusiastic and eager to use the product. The tireless hours, late nights and hard work that were put into the launch had finally paid off for the team as we packed down the last Paddl cut-outs and loaded them into the van. It’s a long road to success but this was definitely a large step in the right direction — well done team!
