“This partnership between E-Oz and CareerLounge will assist Electrical and Electronic Engineering students obtain crucial ‘on-the- job’ skills for their future careers. It will allow a depth and breadth of contact with E-Oz networks that would never be achieved through individual contacts or word-of- mouth alone. This is a great initiative of CareerLounge and we are pleased to be part of it.”

- Mr Bob Taylor, CEO E-Oz Energy Skills Australia

Paddljobs.com will now be offered to energy sector employers as a simple to use employment tool designed to connect students enrolled in energy related education and training with appropriate jobs designed to build their on-the-job experience.

Key to building the pipeline of work-ready graduates is ensuring that the jobs we secure for students whilst they are still studying are suitable, safe and relevant to future energy employers. E-Oz helps us ensure that we understand what matters to employers in the electrical industry and that we engage with employers large and small across the country.

Ms Dominique Fisher, MD, CareerLounge said…

“Having the opportunity to partner with E-Oz so that we ensure that employment for students undertaking any energy relevant course is valuable and productive for both parties is significant”.

“With several hundred of RMIT’s Electrical and Electronic Engineering students being the first in the Paddl Engineering Village to be matched to jobs in the energy sector, including a number of students who will graduate this year, we are thrilled to be working with E-Oz.”
