Why are they Terrible Daily Poems?
If you’ve ever heard of sf writer Theodore Sturgeon, you’ve probably heard of his Law:
“90% of everything is crap.”
I’ve been misquoting it for years, by the way — I’ve been alleging a different writer said it and that “80% of everything is crap.”
So shoot me — I’m an optimist.
Even Sturgeon’s Law in its full stern glory is optimistic.
If 90% of everything is crap, which personal experience says is probably true, there are several wonderful corollaries.
