Animalistic Convos (Writing Prompt 3/4/23)

Set the stage: Imagine you’re having a conversation with your favorite animal personified.
You’re sitting around a campfire, on a walk, chilling on the couch over a cup of tea, or something equally cozy.
What does this animal look like as a human? Are its features sharp, its eyes glowing, its limbs tense, something else?
The Prompt:
Write down how you think the conversation would play out, including notes on facial expression, tone, and body language.
See if any interesting phrases or ideas come up.
Open up a new doc or flip the page in your notebook. Write a poem, essay, story, whatever, and expand on that phrase or idea (without the context or setting of the campfire chat, although you can continue to explore that idea in your original document if you’d like).
Does anything intriguing surface? Make sure you delve into that and see what creative lines come out of that!
