By now we all know we’re supposed to get a flu shot. In doing so, we protect ourselves and everyone around us, especially little ones and grandmas. Many of us still haven’t, but it’s not too late, and this week you can get your shot for free, and for a greater cause (while never leaving your couch).

That cause? Getting a doctor’s appointment for a child in need.

We’ve partnered with the Children’s Health Fund, We’ve partnered with the Children’s Health Fund, an organization that provides 250,000 doctor’s visits to children a year, and for this entire week — Influenza Vaccination Awareness Week — if you or anyone you know gets a flu shot, we’ll donate a health screening to a child at his or her next check-up. And did we mention all flu shots on Pager are free, and that they come to you?

Thanks to our partnership with Envision Healthcare we’re also offering these free, feel-good flu shots in not just New York and San Francisco, but six total cities across the country, adding Dallas, San Diego, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale into the mix. That’s many more flu shots this week, and therefore many more kids getting access to medical care.

Finally, for Influenza Vaccination Awareness week Envision and Pager have teamed up to power pop-up flu shot clinics at schools, homeless shelters and community centers in those same six cities, offering free vaccinations where the most under-served live and access resources. We’re intending to vaccinate up to 5,000 people this week, and keep all of us a little healthier.

This week is the kickoff to Pager Cares, our new dedicated program committing to providing healthcare for the under-served, and we promise this is just the beginning. We hope you’ll take action this week in support — get your shot if you haven’t already, or help us spread the word.

Order your flu shot free through our app or online.
