Our focus at Paid is to make sure freelancers and small businesses get paid on time for the exceptional work they do. Freelancers are such a crucial part of our economy, and we believe late payment has absolutely no place in the 21st century.

Cashflow is such a huge issue for freelancers across all sectors, but in the past two weeks, the media industry took a stand.

#FairPayForFreelancers was born and Anna Codrea-Rado alongside a huge group of freelancers and even MP’s campaigned to highlight the shocking payment circumstances this integral ecosystem have to suffer daily.

Whilst the campaign is initially focused towards journalism, the suffering resonates with pretty much all of the community as according to IPSE, freelance workers lost an average of £5,394 a year in 2017. This is disgusting.

Here at Paid, we completely 100% support this campaign. We understand how difficult it is to receive the payment you deserve on time and we hope we can help with this.

Everyone deserves prompt payment for the work they have completed. Let’s join together and back this campaign, as together we are stronger and can define how we choose to work.
