We’re marching on with incredible events since our first speaking event at Google Singapore last month. Read on to find out what PAL Network will be involved in this month! (Event lineup to be updated upon confirmation of more programmes.)

Women Who Lead

In celebration of International Women’s Day on 8 March 2019, Women Who Lead is a Singapore-based event organised by Carousell, CRIB and General Assembly.

CEO and Founder Val Yap will speak at Women Who Lead alongside other female leaders and entrepreneurs spearheading local innovation in tech, business and creative. The sharing of their compelling journey in their respective fields is aimed to drive inspiration and empowerment among other aspiring female leaders.

Plug and Play Indonesia

Remember last year when PAL Network joined the Plug and Play Accelerator? This year, we are back to Plug and Play Indonesia to witness the robust startup ecosystem of Indonesia. On the first day of Plug and Play Indonesia,

Val will speak at a fireside chat revolving around the theme of digital innovation, strategic partnership and scaling up business from a startup perspective.

Money20/20 Asia 2019

Val will also speak at Money20/20 Asia 2019, an inaugural convention to connect the fintech industry’s finest leaders to exchange, create and turn ideas into reality. This event will bring to stage the next generation’s entrepreneurs set to fundamentally change the fintech industry.

Val will join a panel Fintech Deep Dive (part 2): Localisation and exchange her thoughts on business localisation in the domestic market and the potential to translate that into opportunities to compete in overseas markets.

Leo Shimada, CEO of Crowdo, and Shailesh Naik, Founder & CEO of MatchMove Pay will also speak at the panel discussion. Anthony Star, Founder and CEO of FINNOVASIA will be moderating the panel.
