CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
California’s COVID-19 State of Emergency is set to expire tomorrow Tuesday, February 28. Mass vaccination and testing locations are closing. Address any COVID-19 issues through your regular doctor and the County. Thank you to all community members and City Council members for your leadership and individual contributions in protecting community health and safety.

PALO ALTO LINK SHUTTLE SERVICE
Next week, the City is launching Palo Alto Link, an easy and affordable shuttle service to get you around town. Starting March 7 through April 7, enjoy free shared rides with Palo Alto Link, by booking a ride by calling or downloading the app. After April 7, rides are $3.50 per person or $1.00 for seniors, students, and income qualified community members.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
- The Boards & Commissions recruitment ends today, February 28 at 4:30 p.m. Visit www.cityofpaloalto.org/BCRecruit to apply. You can also apply for any board or commission all year round with this link for when there are openings.
- Join an in-person meeting on Wednesday, March 1 at 6 p.m. in the Downtown Library to share input on options to transform University Ave. This is one step in multi-stage engagement. Learn more about the project and RSVP at www.cityofpaloalto.org/UniversityAveStreetscape.
- Provide input on a proposal for a new Recreation Wellness Center (gym) at a community meeting on Tuesday March 7, 6:30 p.m. at Mitchell Park Community Center. Learn more at www.cityofpaloalto.org/WellnessCenter.

PALO ALTO ART CENTER FAMILY DAY
The Art Center is celebrating Arbor Day and their new exhibition, Under Water, at the Annual Family Day event. Stop by on Sunday, March 5 from 2–4:30 p.m. for a day of fun, learning, and art. Enjoy hands-on art activities and tables with local environmental non-profits. This event is free, and activities are designed to be appropriate for everyone ages 5 through adult.
