COVID-19 PANDEMIC UPDATE
Influenza Added to County Wastewater Data Dashboard
Santa Clara County shared a new wastewater dashboard to track influenza in the community similar to the way they’ve been tracking COVID-19 wastewater data. This data has played an important role in predicting and tracking the presence of COVID-19 in the community and provides public and health professionals with tools to understand community health issues and response.

STANFORD COMMUNITY PLAN REVIEW ON DEC. 5
On December 13, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors will be meeting to review an update on the final set of recommendations for the Stanford Community Plan Update.
The Community Plan is part of the County’s General Plan and is used to guide future use and development of Stanford lands in a manner than incorporates key General Plan principles of compact urban development, open space protection, and resource conservation.
To gain council comments and hear community input on this important community issue, the Stanford Community Plan has been added to the City Council December 5 agenda. To advance this important and timely discussion, the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan Three-Year Work Plan will be moved to be heard in early 2023.
