ANNUAL TEST OF OUR EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM

Last week’s earthquake off the coast of Eureka and related tsunami warning are reminders that emergencies can happen at any time. On Thursday, December 12 at noon, we will conduct a test of our emergency alert system. (12/12 at 12)

COUNCIL PRIORITIES COMMUNITY SURVEY

Each year the City Council reviews and selects annual priorities at their Council Retreat, set for Saturday, January 25. An online survey through the City’s Open Town Hall platform is available to share feedback on what priorities you would like to see the City Council adopt for 2025.

Survey closes on January 5, 2025.

PLANNING & TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION RECRUITMENT OPEN NOW

CONSIDER REPLACING HOME GAS APPLIANCES AND SAVE FOR A LIMITED TIME

Switch to a heat pump water heater for only $2,100, saving $200 for a limited time. Plus, get up to $1,500 to help with site upgrades for homes requiring other updates. Join nearly 500 of your eco-hero neighbors saving the planet one home at a time through the City’s full-service program.

Thanks to California State incentives, moderate- and low-income eligible residents can save up to $8k when switching to a heat pump heating and cooling system (HVAC).
