PALO IT is sending us to Tokyo, Japan for the Tech in Asia Conference 2017! Why did we get this amazing opportunity, you ask? Well having recently celebrated it’s 5th anniversary, PALO IT organised an internal competition for its Singapore employees to take a photo of themselves with the 5th anniversary collateral keepsake, a bluetooth computer mouse. We were super stoked to win! Here’re the winning photos:

What are we looking forward to? Well, Fleur & myself came out with our top 3. In no particular order, they are:

Travelling Together

What we are most looking forward to is travelling together! Both of us love travelling and have the same sort of energy and love for life so it’s definitely gonna be great fun with loud laughing haha! And then: TOKYO! Japan, the country where everything comes together: culture, history, nature, amazing cities, fashion, art and tech! Tokyo is definitely one of the most inspiring cities and we are therefore super excited to attend the conference and get inspired by the amazing speakers, companies and meet new people! Ever since we were signed up for the conference we’ve gotten loads of emails on the exciting activities lined up for us at the conference so we are definitely looking forward to that!

Food

Also we are super excited for the FOOD and shopping! I mean come on, it’s JAPAN! We’ve already gotten a shopping list from friends at Palo and we’ll definitely come back bearing gifts! And let’s activate our taste senses! Tonkatsu, sushi, ramen, okonomiyaki, yakitori — we are SO ready for you!

Knowledge Sharing

The conference schedule has a great line up with speakers of large organizations, but also entrepreneurs. Uber, Entrepreneur First, TIA Japan, 500 startups — impressive organizations are lined up and represented during these two days in Shibuya! Also start-up strategy workshops are organized for participants so the program is interesting for corporate and startup world!

We cannot wait to fly off and will of course keep you updated via Social Media about our trip and experiences together in Japan!
