On behalf of the Pamplona 89 family, we would like to personally thank all who attended the first event in our collaborative T.R.A.P. series.

Co-founders Whitney Woods and Neima Patterson of Peachyland created the series to inspire people to collaborate. “We wanted to bring a network to the people and we hope [everyone] gets a piece of something out of this,” said Woods.

It started as a year long idea that Woods and Patterson were able to put into fruition after meeting Carla Roda, the CEO and founder of Pamplona 89.

Patterson booked a birthday event at Pamplona 89 before considering it as a location for the T.R.A.P. series. She found it to be an amazing space and decided to come back with Woods. “After viewing the space and hearing Carla’s story, we knew this was the place for us,” said Woods, in regards to renting out the space.

For those who were wondering, Roda’s CEO dreams had humble beginnings. She started her journey in Barcelona, Spain at 21 years old with a dream, a backpack and ten euros in her pocket. Despite all the odds, she opened her business, the Barcelona chapter of Pamplona 89, and found success. She then wanted to expand to Los Angeles where she again started with just a backpack and a dream.
