Introducing bCAKE — Farm Yield Boosters
Boost your liquidity farming yield by fixed-term CAKE staking
Continuing the quest to bring more benefits to our loyal CAKE holders, Chefs are now presenting the last piece of the puzzle, which completes the first series of fixed-term CAKE staking benefits. Introducing bCAKE, a new fixed-term CAKE staking benefit that helps you to boost your liquidity farming yield.
What is bCAKE?
bCAKE — Farm Yield Booster is a series of automatically generated boost multipliers that allows you to boost your CAKE yield from selected PancakeSwap liquidity farms.
Similar to iCAKE and vCAKE. bCAKE is NOT a new token.
bCAKE is NOT transferable or tradeable.
How are the bCAKE multipliers calculated?
In order to provide an attractive boost for liquidity farming while serving as an incentive for CAKE staking, bCAKE multipliers are calculated based on various metrics from the CAKE staking pool and the farm you choose to boost.
These metrics include:
- The number of CAKE you stake in the fixed-term staking position
- The duration of your fixed-term staking position
- The number of LP tokens you stake in the farm
Meanwhile, to ensure the system is fair and beneficial to the entire PancakeSwap ecosystem. The calculation will also take into account the overall staking performance of the CAKE pool and farms. Therefore, the following global metrics are also included in the calculation:
- The total amount of CAKE locked in the fixed-term CAKE staking pool
- The average lock duration of the fixed-term CAKE staking pool
- The total amount of LP tokens staked in the farm
The final multipliers will reflect each user’s performance against the entire CAKE pool and farm. Therefore, when you try to boost different PancakeSwap farms, you may get a different bCAKE boost multiplier.

How to use bCAKE to boost my farming yields?
Like any other PancakeSwap products, we design bCAKE to be intuitive and user-friendly. As the name indicates, bCAKE is integrated seamlessly into the current Farm UI. As a result, boosting a farm is as easy as pressing a button.
1 — Lock CAKE
bCAKE is a part of the fixed-term CAKE staking benefits. To start using bCAKE, head to the Pool page and initiate a fixed-term CAKE staking position.
2 — First-time setup and migration
A first-time setup process is required to enable farm booster. Simply look for the new farm booster UI on top of the Farm page, and follow the instructions to enable it. This process only needs to be done once.
If you already have LP tokens staked in the farm you want to boost, you will need to follow the instruction to migrate your staking. But, again, you only need to migrate one time. The migration process is not required if you haven’t staked anything in the farm.
3 — Check out the bCAKE multipliers and boost
Once you’ve completed the above steps, check out the farm you want to boost, and click “Boost” to start enjoying the boosted yield.

Please note that not all the farms can be boosted by bCAKE. Also, there is a limit to how many farms a user can boost simultaneously. To ensure a smooth launch. During the first phase, the following limits are applied to bCAKE:
- Users can only boost CAKE/BUSD farm
- Each user can only boost one farm at a time
- The maximum boost users can receive is 2x
But… but… I want to boost both CAKE/BNB and CAKE/BUSD 🥺
We heard you! The kitchen will keep fine-tuning the parameters and make bCAKE available to more PancakeSwap farms over the next couple of weeks.
