PancakeSwap Launches NFT Profiles, Teams and Points System!
CAKE holders and PancakeSwap users of the world! Today, the Chefs are super happy to share our newest innovation: the NFT profile, teams, and points system.
First, we’ll walk you through the process of getting set up, then we’ll leak some delicious alpha about the future of the system.
Getting Started
Let’s jump into setting up your unique on-chain profile! To get started, go to the side menu and click the “Teams & Profile” tag, then go to “Profile”.
⚠️ Make sure you have at least 5 CAKE in your wallet before getting started!
🥞 Step 1: Choose your starter NFT (4 CAKE)
“Welcome to the world of pancakémon! My name is Procheffor Hops! People call me the pancakémon Prof!” Kidding… the nostalgia really hits!
Every profile starts by making a “starter” collectible (NFT).
This starter will also become your first profile picture, if you don’t have any other eligible Pancake Collectibles.
✅ Please know that there will never be new Swapsies, Drizzle, Blueberries, and co, ever minted.
🌟 In addition, the Gen 0 NFTs (as mentioned above) will grant their holders points! How many? We’re still deciding, but more on points further below.
🥞 Step 2: Set your profile picture
If you were lucky enough to grab one of the first 600 collectibles minted, you can choose it as your profile picture.
🥞 Step 3: Join a team
Choose wisely, you won’t be able to change teams later.
There’s no big difference between the teams right now. Just pick the one you like the most or the ones your friends joined.
🥞 Step 4: Set your name & Complete your profile (1 CAKE)
Your username will be public and may be used to transfer funds between users later.
⚠️ Make sure that the name you set is one you are comfortable having associated with your Binance Smart Chain address.
If you don’t want people to know your address, don’t use the same username you use on other platforms.

That’s you! Rep your team, track and share your achievements and most importantly, show off your Pancake Collectibles!
Task Center
Tasks and achievements will be released steadily over the coming days and weeks. Keep an eye out for announcements regarding these.

Having a profile will allow you to earn points, complete achievements & much more!
So, what do points do? Prizes? Perks? How about both of those and more.
Benefits may include:
- Early access to Syrup Pools
- Exclusive collectibles
- Being in the leaderboard of the top users (aka governance creds)
We’re still exploring more benefits to add, so if you have any suggestions, please let us know in the Telegram group!
In addition, we’re also planning a points economy, meaning that you’ll be able to spend your points. We’re still working on the exact details of this, but it may be in the form of redeeming NFTs from a pack/crate/chest (depending on what kind of games you’re used to playing, or even getting PancakeSwap merch etc. Again, the possibilities are pretty limitless at this time, but we would like to hear what you would like too!
Achievements will be larger-scale tasks and will be available in the form of both personal tasks and team tasks. Completing them will reward you with points, and in some cases, possibly more.

While points and achievements aren’t live (yet), a set of first tasks will soon be revealed to allow you to collect points.
Over time, we’ll continue to add more and more to accommodate things like special events, team trading competitions, and way, way more.

Simple. CAKE collected will be periodically burned, and serves primarily as an anti-spam measure for new profiles.
