The world of cryptocurrencies is full of schemes that use the names and reputations of legit companies to trick users and steal their money. This statement has the purpose of warning our clients about potential frauds and to remind them the safest and most reliable way to use our services. Firstly, we must assert that PandaBTM is not responsible for scams or hoaxes that intend to pose as our platform or are related to fraud schemes of digital assets.

PandaBTM offers several ways to buy and sell cryptocurrency according to the country of the user (only Latin America for the moment), and the payment method required, but we do not contact our clients at all to encourage them to buy digital assets, they decide on their own and find our devices or solutions to do so. Our Colombian users can buy and sell crypto assets through our BTMs and ATMs in several locations in Bogotá and Cucutá.

The ways to acquire cryptocurrencies through PandaBTM are explained below:

BTM devices

You can buy and sell cryptocurrency with your local currency in cash through our mobile BTMs (Bitcoin Teller Machine). This process can only be performed in person at an authorized PandaBTM location with your cash on hand when buying or with the crypto asset in your wallet when selling. In order to acquire your digital assets through our BTMs you must be at the location of the device and pay just at the moment. It is not possible to pay beforehand and then go and withdraw your digital assets nor use third parties to make operations.

PandaBTM is not responsible if you send your money to unauthorized third parties to make your transactions, as the buy/sell process does not allow this kind of operation. The locations authorized by PandaBTM can only process a purchase and a sale if the user is at the location and pays when making the operation. Our BTMs only work in Colombia for the time being, specifically in Bogotá and Cúcuta.

Bitcoin ATMs

Another way to buy cryptocurrency with your local currency in cash is through out Bitcoin ATMs located in:

The only way to use these ATMs is by approaching the ATM location and performing the purchase of digital assets with your cash on hand. We have not authorized third parties to make these operations for you, nor any kind of partner that you need to send your money to in order to receive your cryptocurrency. Every operation with our devices is performed in person and they are paid at that moment, never beforehand or through unauthorized third parties.

WebApp and ChatBots

A final way to buy crypto assets via PandaBTM is by using our WebApp or ChatBots available on our official website. These services are only available for our users in Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Peru. The purchase process is simple and it does not require third parties at any time, buying cryptocurrency on the WebApp is a personal operation and requires identity verifications in order to process the payments of the digital asset that you want to buy. Similarly, your identity must be verified in order to buy crypto assets via the messaging bots before the operation is processed.

None of our online services require third parties to process transactions, you do not have to send your money through means not authorized by our platform. PandaBTM only verifies and authorizes operations performed through the official channels of our platform. We are not responsible for scams, pyramid schemes or other hoaxes, our services aim to enable the trade of cryptocurrency for local currency exclusively by the previously mentioned means and personally.
